On Friday, Donald P. Sutherland held its January Character Assembly, centered on the theme of adaptability which aligns with the district’s Portrait of a Graduate and this year’s schoolwide theme, “Go for Gold.”
Third-grade students presented on Olympic athletes who faced challenges and demonstrated adaptability on their way to success. Following the presentations, Principal Mr. Alvey recognized students who demonstrated compassion throughout the month.
