The East Greenbush Education Foundation successfully hosted its 36th annual Winterfest for the community this past weekend. The event featured more than 40 vendors and various entertainment options, including bounce houses, reptiles, and birds of prey being major hits again this year.
The annual pancake breakfast (333 total sales) and gift basket raffles will both directly support students attending the 8th Grade Class Trip to Washington, D.C. this spring.
“We want to thank everyone who came out and braved the winter weather for the day,” said Angel Schweigert, president of the East Greenbush Education Foundation.
Other Winterfest activities included a 6th Grade Activity Night on Friday evening and COSMIC Bowling at the East Greenbush Bowling Center.
