Mrs. Erin Tarbox‘s kindergarten class at Green Meadow Elementary School decided to keep up its holiday tree and turn it into a mitten tree for the month of January. Together, the class collected 22 brand new pairs of mittens, eight warm winter hats, and 10 pairs of new socks to help community members in need.

The clothing donation was delivered to CoNSERNS-U this past weekend.

“We hope it helps keep our neighbors warm in this freezing cold weather,” said Mrs. Tarbox.
