Nine Columbia High School students had their artwork accepted to the highly competitive 27th annual High School Regional Art Exhibition at the Albany Center Gallery. As a juried show, judges carefully selected 126 student artworks from 515 submissions across 27 local school districts. All three CHS art teachers – Valerie Cafarelli, Andrea Neiman and Alison Savoca – had a student’s piece chosen.
An artists’ reception for students, teachers, families, and guardians was hosted at the gallery on March 20.
At the artists’ reception, Alicia Williams ’27 won the McGreevy ProLab & ProPress Award for her photograph The Melody of the Obscure.
