Columbia High School hosted its annual Multicultural Fair on Thursday evening to celebrate the diverse cultures within the East Greenbush Central School District. Each spring, the fair features student-created projects on poster boards, artwork, cultural artifacts, food and performances.
More than 100 Columbia students participated in this year’s event as they shared their own family heritage and learned about others.
“Our school’s Multicultural Fair reminded us that diversity is more than food and flags—it is the personal stories, traditions, and experiences shared that helped us understand and appreciate one another.”
Special thanks to Social Studies Teacher Wendy McAlonie and the Social Studies Department, Rho Kappa, the Columbia Maintenance Staff, Columbia and East Greenbush CSD Administrators, and our musicians!
