Columbia Softball player Sophia Galligan ’26 was named the Times Union Athlete of the Week on Monday. Galligan threw a two-hitter and struck out 15 in a 2-0 Suburban Council win over Bethlehem. In a 6-2 win over Colonie she did not allow an earned run, struck out 12, and went 4-for-4 at the plate.
