Meet the Candidates Night – Wednesday, May 13

Residents will have the opportunity to meet the four Board of Education candidates on Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Howard L. Goff Middle School cafeteria for Meet the Candidates Night. There are three open seats in this year’s election, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19. Each of the four candidates will discuss their qualifications and answer questions. The event will be hosted by the League of Women Voters.

Parents Night Out – May 9

Columbia High School is hosting a Parents Night Out on Saturday, May 9 at the high school. Children in grades K-5 can be dropped off at the high school auditorium entrance from 5:00-9:00 p.m. for a night of games, arts and crafts, pizza and a movie while parents enjoy some time to themselves!

Cost:

  • Pre-registration by May 6 – $25 for the first child and $20 for each additional child
  • Walk-ins are $30 for the first child and $20 for each additional child
