The Bell Top Education Fair featured exhibits such as Circuit Quiz Boards.
Bell Top Elementary School was transformed into “A Night at the Bell Top Education Museum” on Thursday evening with the cafeteria, gymnasium and classrooms featuring exhibits of student work. Family members marveled at the projects on display.
Importantly, every Bell Top student participated and completed a project.
Visitors had the chance to explore a wide variety of topics as they toured the “museum” wings:
- Kindergarten – Weather Centers
- K-2 Language Concepts – All About Money
- 1st Grade – Planetariums
- 2nd Grade – Animal Exhibits
- 3rd Grade – Wax Museum
- 3-5 Language Concepts – Penguin Research
- 4th Grade – Circuit Quiz Boards
- 5th Grade – Career Pathways
Some of the projects began this winter, while others have been worked on since the start of the school year. For example, fifth graders have explored careers for most of the year in their library class with Mrs. Felice Devine. They started in September, learning what careers are and how education relates to future job opportunities. They identified skills and interests, and finally chose one occupation to research.

“The students did all of the research during library class, along with creating job advertisements and writing a reflection,” Mrs. Devine said. “Then they created their dioramas of their workplace at home.”
All through the Education Museum, students proudly showed off their projects to parents, grandparents and siblings.

The Education Fair was coordinated by a committee of teachers and PTO board members Anya Lee and Steph Perras, and led by Mrs. Devine.
“A Night at the Bell Top Education Museum was a wonderful celebration of curiosity and creativity across all grade levels,” said Bell Top Principal Mike Neumann. “From our youngest kindergarten learners to our fifth-grade leaders, every student took pride in showcasing their hard work and innovative thinking. It was especially rewarding to see how positively the event was received by family members, who were truly impressed by the range and quality of the projects.”
Thank you to all the families, friends, and community members who came out to support our young scholars and make “A Night at the Bell Top Education Museum” an unforgettable evening!
