Students and chaperones in front of the U.S. Capitol during the 8th grade class trip to Washington, D.C.
Eighth grade students from Howard L. Goff Middle School enjoyed a memorable class trip to Washington, D.C. last week. As part of a three-day trip, students visited Arlington National Cemetery, Ford’s Theater, National Archives, Holocaust Museum, National History Museum, Smithsonian Museum, U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, and national monuments.
The annual trip is a longstanding tradition in the East Greenbush Central School District and provides an opportunity for students to visit the nation’s capital and see historic landmarks and museums.
Special thanks to Assistant Principal Nicole Mahoney, Secretary Christine Dessureau, our staff and parent chaperones, and everyone who made this field trip possible!
