The Green Meadow Elementary School Student Council enjoyed a memorable field trip to the Rensselaer County Courthouse on Monday morning. The field trip included:
- Tour of the courthouse
- Opportunity to sit in and observe actual court proceedings
- Participation in mock trial of “The Gum Thief”
They also met Senator Jake Ashby, Assemblymember John McDonald, Judge Debra Young, and District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly.
“It was a fantastic day filled with learning and fun!” said Student Council Co-Advisor Jaimee Kusche.
