The Bell Top PTO raised $27,157 for student programs through a fundraising campaign this spring. The fundraiser enlisted students, parents, teachers and the community to obtain pledges and donations for how many laps the students could run during the Bell Top Boogie Run at the back field last week.
The money will support the Bell Top Book Club, enrichment opportunities for every classroom, field trips, and special events such as the Education Fair.
To celebrate achieving the fundraising goal, the Bell Top students and staff formed two lines and threw confetti into the air as Principal Mike Neumann ran through it.
“I could not be more pleased with the success of this year’s Boogie Run,” said Mr. Neumann. “Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and the amazing work of our PTO, this major fundraiser will provide for some truly exciting projects and opportunities for our students. Beyond the financial success, it was wonderful to see the students having so much fun throughout the entire process.”
