Twenty-nine Columbia High School student athletes announced their college commitments at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in the school gym. The student athletes represent sports from the fall, winter and spring seasons.

Each student was accompanied by family as they signed their college commitments in front of teammates and coaches.

“Today is about recognition, dedication, and the culmination of years of hard work,” said Director of Athletics Ryan Jones. “For our student athletes sitting in these chairs, today marks the official transition from being a proud Columbia Blue Devil to taking your talents to the collegiate level.

“Congratulations to all of our student athletes on all their successes and I wish them nothing but that best as they move forward to represent Columbia at the collegiate level.”
