Genet Elementary School 4th graders portrayed historical figures such as Susan B. Anthony, Albert Einstein, Henry Hudson, and Jackie Robinson at their annual Wax Museum on Friday in the school gymnasium.
Nearly 90 students participated in the event where they dressed in costume in front of poster boards and recited their historical significance to students, staff and families.
“Watching our students bring history to life at the Wax Museum is a remarkable experience,” said Genet 4th Grade Teacher Jenna Turnbull. “Their hard work, creativity, and dedication shines through as they confidently share the stories of their famous figures. We are incredibly proud of how much they learned and how they demonstrated their growth as researchers, writers, and presenters through their biographies, speeches, and posters.”
