Fifth-grade students at Green Meadow Elementary School celebrated the conclusion of their elementary school years during their Moving Up Ceremony, held last Thursday morning in the school gymnasium.
Principal Dan Garab presented each student with a certificate as they crossed the stage, where they were congratulated by fifth-grade teachers Diane Cohen, Michelle Ecker, and Susanna Schreck.
After they were presented their certificates, the students performed “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars for their families and friends in attendance. The celebration continued with the traditional Fifth Grade Dance, where students danced to “Uptown Funk,” by Bruno Mars. The ceremony concluded with a photo slideshow featuring students from their baby years through their fifth-grade.
Students will be starting 6th grade at Howard L. Goff Middle School in the fall.
Congratulations!
