The East Greenbush Central School District is pleased to announce that the new Red Mill playground will officially open on Monday, September 14. The new playground features various structures including slides, climbers, monkey bars, spinners, and swings. There is a paved path around the perimeter with a rubber surface running through the middle of the playground to allow for improved accessibility.

The new playground is part of Phase 2 of the “Building a Bright Future” Capital Project. It was designed with input from a Red Mill playground committee of staff and families.

Construction began in April with a target opening date of September 2026.

Students will have outdoor recess in the back field during the first week of school as the playground is completed.
