Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Columbia Students Attend Governor Hochul’s ‘State of the State for Future Leaders’
Students from Columbia High School’s Participation in Government class joined other high school and community college students from around the Capital Region on Monday when they attended Governor Hochul’s State of the State for Future Leaders at Hudson Valley Community College.
Kindergarten Registration Information for 2025-26
The East Greenbush Central School District is now enrolling kindergarten students for the 2025-26 school year. To be eligible for kindergarten in September 2025, your child must turn five years old by December 1, 2025.

Columbia Science Olympiad Wins 8 Medals at Mount Academy Invitational
The Columbia Science Olympiad team won medals in eight events and placed 5th overall at the Mount Academy Invitational this past weekend. Congratulations!
New York City Bus Trip – May 3
Columbia’s Junior Class is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City on Saturday, May 3, 2024, that includes the option to see “Gypsy” at the Majestic Theatre. The trip is open to students, families, staff and friends in the East Greenbush school community.
