Non-resident students may be accepted as students in the district upon approval of the Board of Education, according to Policy 5152. In order to be accepted, a non-resident student shall meet all academic and behavioral standards of the district.
Tuition fees for non-resident students shall be established annually by the Board of Education pursuant to the Commissioner’s Regulations in this regard.

Non-Resident Application Process
The parent or legal guardian of the prospective student should send a letter to the Superintendent of Schools requesting attendance in the East Greenbush Central School District. Letters should be sent to the following address:

If approved for attendance and tuition is paid, school and class placement of a non-resident student shall be determined solely by the Superintendent or designated district administrative personnel.
