Effective immediately, all children ages 12-15 are eligible to receive the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, meaning all state residents ages 12 and up can now be protected against COVID-19. The Rensselaer County Health Department will be hosting a Pfizer Vaccine Clinic for 12 to 15 year olds at the McDonough Sports Complex at Hudson Valley Community College on Friday, May 14 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by a parent and bring proof of age. Parent Support for Students with Disabilities

Parent Support for Students with Disabilities was initiated over 18 years ago to provide parents with information on various topics of interest and an opportunity to get together to share successes and problem solve. Over the years, the group had been led by several very dedicated parents whose children have since grown up, graduated and moved on. This year, two parents have volunteered to be Co-Facilitators of the group, Michelle McDonald and Katherine Maciol.

Thank you for your support and partnership with us to continue to provide your children with high quality education supports. We look forward to working together again this year!
