The winter sports season schedule has been adjusted by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Only “low-risk” sports as determined by the NYS Department of Health, which includes Boys’ and Girls’ Bowling, are permitted to start on December 14. “High-risk” winter sports including Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball, Competitive Cheer, Ice Hockey and Wrestling have not been approved by the state.
All eight Columbia High School varsity teams that competed this fall received Scholar/Athlete Team Awards from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Congratulations!

The Columbia High School Athletic Hall of Fame Celebration, originally scheduled for May 2 and then postponed to November 6, has been rescheduled to May 8, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current restrictions on large gatherings. The event will celebrate the Hall of Fame Classes of 2020 and 2021. Tickets can be requested through Columbia High School’s Athletic Department at 518-207-2085.
