Fourth and fifth graders from across the East Greenbush Central School District gathered in the Columbia High School auditorium on Monday and Tuesday this week to watch talented middle school and high school students perform at the 2024 Instrumental Festival. The two-day concert is meant to showcase musical options for students.
Members from the East Greenbush Central School District’s Advocacy Committee, including teachers, staff, students and parents, visited with state legislators on March 8 in Albany as part of Legislative Lobby Day.
Goff Middle School celebrated Pi Day on Thursday with special math-related activities which included students pressing pies into the faces of teachers and staff.
The calendar for the 2024-25 school year was approved by the Board of Education at its public meeting on Wednesday evening. This calendar includes the first and last days of school, holidays, parent conferences and professional development days.
Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Darling children are off to Neverland in the Goff Drama Club’s production of “Peter Pan Jr.” this weekend. Performances are scheduled for Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 16 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Columbia High School auditorium.
