The Donald P. Sutherland and Genet Elementary School grounds, including playgrounds, will be closed this summer due to construction as part of the East Greenbush Central School District’s Capital Project. Both schools will have significant work to repair and improve those buildings, making it unsafe for visitors to be accessing those grounds and playgrounds.

New York State Education Law mandates that school children have a physical examination in grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and all new entering students. This examination must have been completed within one calendar year of entering and MUST be documented on the attached mandated NYS form.

Parents can register their students for the K-8 Elevate Summer School Program until Thursday, June 30. The program will begin Tuesday, July 5 and go through Friday, July 29.
