Friday, March 21 – Week 1/Day 5

Congratulations to Annabelle Carroll who was named NewsChannel 13 “Athlete of the Week”! Annabelle participates in Unified Bowling and Unified Basketball here at Columbia, as well as gymnastics and soccer for the Special Olympics.

Join Student Council in a little March Madness spirit week! Spirit week packs will be for sale outside of the cafeteria this Thursday for five dollars. The dress up days are as follows:

  • Monday, March 17:  “Green Out”
  • Tuesday, March 18:  Fashion Disaster Day
  • Wednesday, March 19:  Anything But a Water Bottle Day
  • Thursday, March 20:  March Madness College Apparel Day
  • Friday, March 21:  Pajama Day

Talent Show auditions will be held on Tuesday,  April 1st, in the Auditorium, from 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm. Sign up sheets are in Guidance. Come show off your talent and be a part of the show! Email Mrs. Weiss with any questions.

Have you gotten your ticket for Guptills Night yet? Tickets are still being sold this week. They are five dollars and can be purchased outside of the lunch room or in Room S-302 with Mrs. Polaski. Grab some friends and have some old time fun!

Get Ready for a Night on the Starlit SlopesColumbia High School’s Snoball Dance is happening on March 22nd from 7pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $12 each and will be on sale March 19th to March 21st during the lunch periods. All previously purchased tickets are valid! Get ready for a night of fun, a time to dance the night away under the glow of the stars! If you’re bringing an out-of-district guest, don’t forget to submit your signed paperwork to your AP before purchasing a ticket. See you at the summit—it’s going to be a peak experience!

Are you looking for a fun night out with friends where you can show off your knowledge? Well, the Class of 2027 is hosting a Team Trivia Night on Saturday, March 29 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the Columbia Library. Get a team together and join us for some fun and prizes.
