Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Science

Students must earn a minimum of three credits in Science, with two of those credits in Environmental Science (Earth Science) and Living Environment (Biology). All Science classes are laboratory-based and culminate with either a final exam or Regents Exam (at the Regents level).

Columbia offers AP classes in the core courses of Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and has added two Engineering electives.
