Upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

The Rensselaer County Health Department will be hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics this summer throughout the county. The vaccine is free and walk-ins are welcome. Clinics include: Onderdonk Park, East Greenbush, NY (Tuesday, August 10, 5-7 p.m., J&J); North Greenbush Town Hall, Wynantskill, NY (Sunday, August 22, 5-7 p.m., J&J); Stewart’s Shops, Nassau, NY (Tuesday, August 24, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Pfizer or J&J). NCAA

One of the differences between the three athletic divisions at colleges and universities is that Division I and Division II may offer athletic scholarships, while Division III cannot. There are specific high school academic requirements to obtain eligibility to participate in a Division I or Division II school. Those requirements can be found here.

  1. Contact your counselor – make sure to keep your counselor in the loop about your interest in playing a Division I or Division II sport in college. We can help you track your eligibility progress.
  2. NCAA credit worksheet to help you track your courses and keep you on track for eligibility.
  3. NCAA Eligibility Centerduring junior year, students should log on to the Eligibility Center to begin the initial eligibility process.
