Purpose Statement

The East Greenbush Central District’s Education Committee reviews and discusses the district’s strategic plan, initiatives and programs throughout the school year in an effort to increase opportunities for students and best ensure that all of our students are college and career ready.  Included within the scope of this committee is an on-going review of relevant data including but not limited to academic achievement, graduation rates, student interest surveys, and regional and national job analytics.

The Education Committee investigates, advocates, and supports the development of new and responsive educational programs, identifies possible barriers for continuous growth and ensures that the education program remains consistent with the East Greenbush Central School District’s Mission and Goals which have been developed in cooperation with the Board of Education in an effort to foster stronger and more meaningful relationships with our surrounding community.
