The Professional Development Committee plans, implements and evaluates our district’s annual professional development and required training for teachers, administrators, support staff, and others identified within the actual plan.
Annual Objectives/Priority Areas:
- Program Review completions using CCS Program Review guidance & Portrait of a Graduate alignment
- ELA Support & coaching/reflection with adopted programs in K-3
- Continuos
- NYS Numeracy Brief awareness & curriculum mapping, and assessment writing
- Science of Reading continuous training
- Addressing social-emotional needs of staff and students (Wellness)
- Supporting diverse learners (English Language Learners)
- Integration of Technology & AI
- Training around staff and student safety
