The Professional Development Committee plans, implements and evaluates our district’s annual professional development and required training for teachers, administrators, support staff, and others identified within the actual plan.

Annual Objectives/Priority Areas:

• Program Review completions using CCS Program Review guidance & Portrait of a Graduate alignment
• ELA Support & coaching/reflection with adopted programs in K-3
• Continuos
• NYS Numeracy Brief awareness & curriculum mapping, and assessment writing
• Science of Reading continuous training
• Addressing social-emotional needs of staff and students (Wellness)
• Supporting diverse learners (English Language Learners)
• Integration of Technology & AI
• Training around staff and student safety
