Howard L. Goff Middle School offers an After School Homework Program to students on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:50 – 3:50 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get extra help in a small setting from our dedicated faculty. Below are the program details and guidelines:
- Students will sign up for the after school support on the morning of the date they wish to stay.
- Students will sign up in the Green House office, regardless of grade level.
- Students will be responsible to bring the work they would like to get assistance with. The teacher will not provide work.
- Each day, 4 teachers or teaching assistants will be available to help your students with their work.
Students will sign up in the guidance office each time they would like to attend the program. They will identify the subject they would like help in. Participation in the after school program is voluntary and not punitive. Teachers may recommend and encourage students to attend the program.
After school busing will be available. Late Buses leave Goff at 4:00 p.m. or students can be picked up by a parent/guardian by 4:00 p.m. at the latest. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s counselor or an administrator.
