Green Meadow is a neighborhood elementary school that has been educating children since 1955. We serve approximately 400 students in grades K-5 from portions of the towns of East Greenbush and Schodack. Our dedicated and supportive staff serves children with a wide variety of needs and backgrounds. We not only strive for academic excellence, but also to create an atmosphere where virtues are fostered, character counts, and all persons are welcomed and valued. We have developed a strong partnership with parent and community members to meet the needs of our learners.
Green Meadow was named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Green Meadow is one of only 325 schools in the country, including one of 19 schools in New York to receive the 2021 National Blue Ribbon School award.
