Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Driver Education Registration Opens for Fall 2024
Registration for the Fall 2024 Driver Education class at Columbia High School is now open. In order to register, students must submit a registration form and the class fee of $500 by check, bank check or money order made out to East Greenbush CSD.
Columbia Basketball Golf Scramble – September 21
The 30th annual Columbia Basketball Golf Scramble Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Columbia Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Programs and the Bob Smith & Ted Romanowski Memorial Scholarships. Golfers are still being accepted.
Board of Education Adopts 2024-25 Safety Plan
The East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education adopted the 2024-25 District-wide Safety Plan at its public meeting on Wednesday evening. The plan outlines the district’s response to emergencies, the types of safety drills to be completed each year and the School Resource Officer agreements.
