Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Craig Lipps Appointed as New Supervisor of Transportation
Craig Lipps was appointed as the new Supervisor of Transportation by the Board of Education at its public meeting on Wednesday evening. Mr. Lipps is the current Transportation Director in the Guilderland Central School District and has more than 25 years of experience working in school transportation.
Red Mill Great Apple Race Schedule
Red Mill’s annual Great Apple Race is scheduled for Thursday, October 16 behind the school. All parents are welcome to attend this fun event. You do NOT need to sign in; please go directly to the outside field.
Technology Game-Changer: New Robot Used to Paint Athletic Fields and Parking Lots
The days of slow, manual field lining are over! The East Greenbush Central School District Grounds Department added a state-of-the-art Turf Tank Two robot to the team in August, allowing for automated painting of grass athletic fields and parking lot lines.

The annual Genet Fall Fun Run is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15 at Romer Field behind school.
‘The Columbian’ Named to International Yearbook Honor Roll
The Columbian yearbook was recently selected to the 2024-25 Pictavo International Honor Roll, recognizing it in the top 200 yearbooks out of several thousands of schools. Congratulations!
