No School - Monday, January 19

The East Greenbush CSD will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Additionally, Columbia High School has no classes starting Tuesday, January 20 through Friday, January 23 due to Regents and Midterm Exams. Only students taking exams should attend. All other schools in the district will be in session on those days.

Capital Project Breaking News


The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Stewart’s Proposal Wins Columbia Legislative Lobby Day

Columbia High School Participation in Government classes hosted their Legislative Lobby Day on Wednesday in the school auditorium with students presenting their bills to classmates. The winning project, voted on by students, was a proposal to create Student Discount Cards for Stewart’s Shops. It was presented by Finn Jordan ’26, Connor Reynolds ’26 and Carson Wasbes ’26.
