Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

East Greenbush CSD Receives Top Credit Rating from Moody’s
The East Greenbush CSD received a MIG 1 rating from Moody’s Ratings last month for the $14.7 million bond anticipation notes that are related to the previous capital project. MIG 1 is the best rating possible and indicates “superior credit quality.”
Winter Concert Schedule
Students from around the East Greenbush Central School District will be performing at winter concerts during December and January. We invite you to come out and show your support for these talented musicians!
Goff Students Express Gratitude in Classroom Activity
Students in Ms. Ouimet’s and Mrs. DiGiorgi’s 6th and 7th grade ELA classes got together before the Thanksgiving holiday to share in a gratitude activity. Students made “Gratitude Pies” which showed the different things they are thankful for in their lives, such as family, food and music.
Board of Education Meeting – December 4
The next Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Central Administration Conference Room. The public may attend the meeting in person or watch the live stream at www.egcsd.org.
Red Mill Plumbing Issue Fixed, School Will Be Open Tomorrow
Red Mill Elementary School closed early on Monday, December 2 due to a plumbing issue that affected bathrooms in the school. The issue has been repaired and school will be open on Tuesday, December 3.
Green Meadow Student Council Sees the Impact of Giving Back
The Green Meadow Student Council delivered over 2,200 food items to CoNSERNS-U in Rensselaer on Friday. The items were collected during their recent Food Drive and were unpacked, sorted, and delivered by the Student Council members.
