Capital Project Breaking News


The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

DPS Kicks Off Read-A-Thon with Olympic-Sized Surprise

On Friday afternoon, during the Annual Read-A-Thon kickoff at Donald P. Sutherland, Librarian Peg O’Connor and Art Teacher Dianne Chalavoutis, dressed in ancient Greek clothing, surprised students at a school-wide assembly by giving a free book to each student as part of the  One School, One Book Read-A-Thon Challenge.
