Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Bell Top Accepting Bell Ringer Nominations
Bell Top Elementary School is now accepting nominations for the Bell Ringers Wall of Fame. This honor is bestowed upon former Bell Top students who have attained significant accomplishments in the areas of Academics, the Arts, Citizenship, or Athletics. All nominations must be received by Monday, May 26, 2025.
Inside the Classroom: Tracy Cornell’s Fourth Grade Class
Students in Bell Top 4th Grade Teacher Tracy Cornell’s class continued learning about energy on Friday by using circuit boards to turn on lights, power fans and make various sounds. They also worked in groups to create posters all about energy.
Incoming Superintendent Dr. Kurtis Kotes Begins Introductory Tour of East Greenbush Schools
Dr. Kurtis Kotes, the newly appointed Superintendent of Schools for the East Greenbush CSD, went on a tour of schools on Thursday, visiting Bell Top, Donald P. Sutherland, and Green Meadow Elementary Schools, where he began the important process of connecting with teachers, staff, and, most importantly, the students.
