Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Board of Education Meeting/Budget Workshop – March 26
The next Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 pm in the Genet Elementary School auditorium.
Calendar Changes Due to Unused Snow Days
The East Greenbush CSD planned for up to four emergency closings this school year by building them into the school calendar. At this point, the district has only used one emergency closing. Therefore, barring any additional closings, schools will be closed on April 21, May 23 and May 27.
Inside The Classroom: Dianne Chalavoutis’ Art Class
On Friday, 5th-grade students in Mrs. Chalavoutis’ art class painted their Pinch Pot Monsters, which they previously made from clay. Using watercolor, they added watercolors to paint the clay adding textures and layers.
Goff 8th Grade French Students Zoom with French Musician
French students in Diane Traver’s 8th-grade French class at Goff Middle School participated in Manie Musical, an international March Madness-style contest inspired by the NCAA Madness Basketball Tournament. During class, students listened to French-speaking artists from around the world learning about their culture, country and music.
After-School Enrichment Club at Green Meadow
The After School enrichment Club, hosted by the Green Meadow PTO, gives students the opportunity to explore subjects they are interested in beyond the classroom.
Red Mill’s Got Talent!
Red Mill 4th and 5th grade students showed off their talents by singing, dancing and giving skills demonstrations during the 2025 Red Mill Talent Show on March 13.
