The East Greenbush Central School District has launched a process to develop a strategic plan. The strategic plan will guide the district’s vision and priorities into the future. As part of this process, the district will engage with school staff, students, families and the community.
Strategic Plan Process
- Community Input
- Gather feedback from the community through a survey
- Analyze results and develop priorities
- Leadership Team Retreat
- Draft foundational concepts for the plan
- Blueprint Meeting
- Develop ideas through community participation and discussions
- Share data, identify goals, brainstorm solutions and discuss possibilities
- Action Planning
- Design actions by clearly identifying what will be done, who will be responsible for doing it and when it will get done
- Implementation
- Compilation and adoption of the work where we ensure the actions committed to are taken and the plan becomes the constant and consistent work of the organization
Strategic Plan Survey
The district launched a survey in June 2025 to help inform the strategic plan process. The survey platform allowed members of the school community to contribute their thoughts anonymously, and the ability to view and rate the feedback provided by others. Strategic Plan Survey Results.
Strategic Planning Community Meeting
The district hosted an in-person planning meeting on Tuesday, August 5 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at Howard L. Goff Middle School. Stakeholders from across the district – faculty, staff, parents, community members, and students – reviewed survey data, shared feedback on mission, vision and goals, and brainstormed priorities, goals and objectives for a new strategic plan.
