With purple mortar boards sitting atop their heads, the DPS fifth grade class received their certificates at Moving Up Ceremony on Wednesday morning.

Principal Jack Alvey led the ceremony and offered some advice to the graduating class.

“Continue to be enthusiastic about your family, friends, activities of interest, and of course your school,” he said. “Continue to work hard and be a dreamer so that one day you can come back and share with us your accomplishments.”
