There will be a half day for all students in grades PK-12 on Friday, February 6 due to staff professional development.
2026 District-wide Choral Festival
Students from across the East Greenbush Central School District gathered for the District-wide Choral Festival on Wednesday morning in the Columbia High School auditorium. Each school’s chorus took the stage to perform a song including “Count On Me,” “Fight Song,” and “Build Me Up Buttercup.”
Special Transportation Requests for 2026-27
Special transportation requests for next school year, including to private schools and daycare or alternate locations, are due to the Transportation Department by April 1, 2026 (original documents must be submitted).

Free Active Parenting Workshop for Parents of Children Ages 5-12
Rensselaer County is hosting a free Active Parenting Workshop with five sessions starting Wednesday, March 4 and ending Wednesday, April 4. The workshop will offer guidance in navigating current parenting challenges. You will learn effective discipline strategies, communications skills, school success and more!
