For the second year in a row, the District-wide Art Show must be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While our community cannot come together for this popular event, the dedicated art teachers from throughout the district have produced a Google Slides presentation so everyone can enjoy the outstanding work of our students.
The East Greenbush Central School District has updated its school calendar for this spring in response to recent information provided by the NYS Education Department.
This month, 4th grade students will be indicating their first, second and third choice of instrument for next school year. In order for students and families to begin planning for instrumental music instruction in the fall, the music department has generated an instrument demonstration video.
Superintendent Jeff Simons is one of 92 school superintendents from the region to sign a letter on Tuesday advocating for further changes in school opening guidance that would result in a full reopening by the start of the next school year in September. The joint letter was sent to New York State Commissioner of Education Dr. Betty Rosa, county health departments and members of the New York State Assembly and Senate.
School cafeterias will be serving Chicken Nuggets, Macaroni and Cheese, Sandwiches, Salads and more in the month of May!
