The East Greenbush Central School District was notified today that three students and one employee have tested positive for COVID-19.
Due to no school on Monday, January 18 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), schools will have changes to the parent meal pickup procedures for remote students.
The district’s phone service has been restored. Our schools are now able to receive incoming calls from cellular phones. Thank you for your patience as our carrier resolved this issue.
The East Greenbush Central School District has developed a COVID-19 Testing Program informed by New York State’s Micro-Cluster Strategy. The state’s micro-cluster strategy will mandate testing in Yellow, Orange, or Red micro-cluster zones, based on infection rates, daily new cases and hospital capacity. If a zip code, census tract or region is placed in one of those zones by the state, there will be restrictions for schools.
The East Greenbush Central School District will resume its K-12 hybrid model and reopen all district schools on Monday, January 4. Monday will be a regular A Day in the hybrid model.
