INSIDE GOFF MIDDLE SCHOOL
There will be no school for students on Monday, September 28. When schools reopen on Tuesday, September 29, B Day students will report to school and A Day students will learn remotely from home.
The East Greenbush Central School District will not be offering Modified sports this fall due to limited student interest and limited school participation from other Suburban Council schools. As of this morning, there were not enough Goff Middle School students signed up for Modified sports to field teams. Additionally, only a few Suburban Council schools committed to playing Modified sports, which would not allow for a schedule of games.
The 2019-20 Goff Yearbooks have been delivered to school and students can begin to pick them up today.
The Howard L. Goff Middle School Backpack Program received a $1,500 donation from Stewart’s Shops at the grand opening of one of its new convenience stores on Friday morning. During the ceremony in front of the new store on Columbia Turnpike, Erica Komoroske from Stewart’s Shops presented Superintendent Jeff Simons, Principal Jill Barker and Social Worker Jamie Eggleston with a check for $1,000 and $500 worth of milk and egg gift cards.
Families with students who will be remote on Tuesday, September 29 (A Group/Full Remote) can pickup meals from their school that morning. Due to schools being closed on Monday, September 28, meals will not be available for pickup that day.
