Goff German Students Learn About Berlin Wall and Its Fall

Students in Jennifer Fey’s German classes at Howard L. Goff Middle School marked the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall last month. They learned about the Berlin Wall in class – how it separated East and West Berlin, how life was different on each side of the wall, and how graffiti with messages of peace and hope were painted on the western side.

Goff Students Express Gratitude in Classroom Activity

Students in Ms. Ouimet’s and Mrs. DiGiorgi’s 6th and 7th grade ELA classes got together before the Thanksgiving holiday to share in a gratitude activity. Students made “Gratitude Pies” which showed the different things they are thankful for in their lives, such as family, food and music.
