Capital Project Update: Phase 1A Receives NYS Education Department Approval
The East Greenbush CSD received approval for Phase 1A of the Capital Project last month from the New York State Education Department. Phase 1A includes new tennis courts and basketball courts at Columbia High School and replacement of the Columbia roof.
Goff German Students Learn About Berlin Wall and Its Fall
Students in Jennifer Fey’s German classes at Howard L. Goff Middle School marked the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall last month. They learned about the Berlin Wall in class – how it separated East and West Berlin, how life was different on each side of the wall, and how graffiti with messages of peace and hope were painted on the western side.
Columbia/Goff 2-Hour Delay and Elementary Schools Closed (Thursday, December 5)
Due to current road conditions, Columbia High School and Howard L. Goff Middle School will open with a 2-hour delay and all elementary schools will be closed on Thursday, December 5.

Winter Concert Schedule
Students from around the East Greenbush Central School District will be performing at winter concerts during December and January. We invite you to come out and show your support for these talented musicians!
Goff Students Express Gratitude in Classroom Activity
Students in Ms. Ouimet’s and Mrs. DiGiorgi’s 6th and 7th grade ELA classes got together before the Thanksgiving holiday to share in a gratitude activity. Students made “Gratitude Pies” which showed the different things they are thankful for in their lives, such as family, food and music.
