The calendar for the 2021-22 school year was approved by the Board of Education at Wednesday’s public meeting. This calendar includes the first and last days of school, holidays, parent conferences and professional development days.
The Howard L. Goff Middle School English, Reading and Library departments participated in a Celebration of Reading earlier this month. Classes engaged in reading-themed lessons and activities to support the fun project.
Goff Middle School’s Peer Leadership club recently sent handmade thank you cards to respiratory therapists at Albany Medical Center. The students made the cards for the frontline workers who have helped battle COVID-19 for the past year.
School cafeterias will be serving Chicken Nuggets, Pizza, Taco Salad, Sandwiches and more in the month of March!
The Howard L. Goff Middle School Student Council is selling Autism Awareness shirts to be worn on April 22 and 23 in support of Autism Awareness Month in April. Proceeds from the shirts will be donated to the Autism Society which promotes lifelong opportunities for people on the autism spectrum and their families.
