Ten Capital Region school districts will be gathering with state legislators at Columbia High School in East Greenbush to host a Forum on the Sustainability of Schools on Thursday, January 30 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Students, parents, teachers and staff from each of these school districts are invited to attend this event.

The Columbia High School Guidance Office is offering beautiful prom dresses to students for free. There are many colors, sizes and styles to choose from and they will go fast. East Greenbush CSD Approved for NYS Seal of Biliteracy Program

Columbia High School students now have the opportunity to earn a Seal of Biliteracy on their diploma, indicating that they are proficient in both English and another language. The Seal of Biliteracy was approved for the East Greenbush Central School District by the New York State Education Department in December.

Nina Tedeschi Wins 6th Annual Poetry Slam

Nine Tedeschi ’20 won Columbia High School’s 6th annual Poetry Slam on Friday evening in the school library. In all, eight students participated in the event by delivering original poems.
