School cafeterias will be serving Walking Taco with Nacho Doritos, Mandarin Orange Chicken, All Beef Hot Dog on a Whole Grain Bun, Pizza, Sandwiches, Salads, and more in the month of April.
Blue Devil Community Spring Market – May 9
Columbia Student Council is hosting its inaugural Blue Devil Community Spring Market on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Columbia High School parking lot. The community fair will have local vendors selling crafts, food and other goods.
Three Columbia Students Compete in Regeneron Greater Capital Region Science and Engineering Fair
Congratulations to Columbia High School students Aneira Bailey, Kaylee Mercer, and Sarah Rainville for competing in the 36th annual Regeneron Greater Capital Region Science and Engineering Fair on Saturday at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute!
Spring Recess – April 3-10
All schools will be closed for Spring Recess starting Friday, April 3 through Friday, April 10. Schools will reopen on Monday, April 13 (this is now a regular school day due to the snow day used on January 26).
Nine Columbia Students Have Artwork Accepted to 27th Annual High School Regional Art Exhibition
Nine Columbia High School students had their artwork accepted to the highly competitive 27th annual High School Regional Art Exhibition at the Albany Center Gallery. Congratulations!
District Update with Dr. Kotes (March 24, 2026)
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kurtis Kotes sat down with students from the Advocacy Committee to talk about their visit with state legislators in Albany to advocate for public education. Some of the key issues discussed were: Foundation Aid, School Safety, the EV School Bus Mandate, Fixing Tier 6, and Free Meals for All Students.
