The boilers are back online and the heat is on in the building.

At approximately 7:10 a.m. Thursday morning, the heat went out at Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School. National Grid is working to resolve the issue and school maintenance staff have gotten one of the boilers back online. The heat is expected to be back on at approximately 10:00 a.m.

The building still has a comfortable temperature, so students and staff will continue the school day as they normally would.
