Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Students building with LegosDozens of students at Red Mill are learning and having fun even after the school day ends. By participating in the after school enrichment program, students can select a class of their interest, including:

  • Lego Club
  • Cooking Class
  • Japanese
  • Martial Arts

“Each year our PTO-sponsored after school enrichment program focuses on areas and topics of high interest to our students,” said Principal John Caporta. “This year’s classes are actually directly tied to suggestions made through our Student Council. It is the goal of our PTO to provide opportunities not ordinarily a part of the regular school day programs.”

Special thanks to the PTO and our volunteer instructors who make this program possible.
