Decorated pumpkinsStudents at Bell Top Elementary School worked together to create fun and original pumpkins as part of a PTO-sponsored Pumpkin Decorating Contest this week. Each class designed its own pumpkin and then displayed them at the PTO Trunk or Treat on Thursday evening at the Twin Town baseball fields where children could vote for their favorite pumpkin.

There was a pumpkin witch, a pumpkin gum ball machine and a pumpkin Pete the Cat, among others.

Congratulations to Mr. Lussier’s 4th grade class who won the contest with their Evil Pumpkin that was made to look like it was eating a student who forgot to do their homework! They win a class party with hot chocolate and doughnuts or bagels.

Second place was a tie between Mrs. Gigliello’s 3rd grade class and Mrs. Bernard’s 5th grade class.

Great job, everyone!
