Upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

The Rensselaer County Health Department will be hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics this summer throughout the county. The vaccine is free and walk-ins are welcome. Clinics include: Onderdonk Park, East Greenbush, NY (Tuesday, August 10, 5-7 p.m., J&J); North Greenbush Town Hall, Wynantskill, NY (Sunday, August 22, 5-7 p.m., J&J); Stewart’s Shops, Nassau, NY (Tuesday, August 24, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Pfizer or J&J). 2019 Geography Bee contestants Eighth grader Aidan Singh won the 4th annual Goff Geography/History Bee on December 20. The competition, which was held in the school gym, tested 13 students on their knowledge of U.S. and world geography, flags and landmarks.

Each of the contestants qualified for the competition by having the top scores in a school-wide test earlier in the month.

Aidan Singh won the 4th annual Goff Geography/History Bee on December 20.

The Final Question of the competition asked “The Four Corners Monument marks the point where four states meet. Name these four states.”  (Answer: New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona.)
