Attention 5th Grade Families:

This week your child(ren) came home with a letter from the PTO regarding baby photos for the Genet Yearbook. Please ask your child for that flyer. If you have any questions, please reach out to either myself or the PTO. The PTO can be reached at genetyearbookphotos@gmail.com.

Genet Reading Night 2021:

As indicated in the Genet Journal, for the past several years, Genet has put on a reading night with our school community to help kick-start the Ronald McDonald Read-a-thon. Sadly, we are unable to continue the in-person event, but the Genet Team and I wanted to still provide something for our students to continue to promote reading. This year we have created a bitmoji presentation with our bitmoji characters and videos of us reading some of our favorite books for our students. Feel free to look through the slides and click on any of the book covers to be taken to a video by one of our team members reading that story. All stories can count towards minutes for the Ronald McDonald Read-A-Thon!

Please click here to download a pdf version of our celebration: Genet Reading Night 2021 Celebration.

We hope that you enjoy our virtual celebration!

As always, thank you for your continued support of Genet!  We look forward to seeing everyone back next week!

Sincerely,

Wayne Grignon
Principal
