When we return on June 2, we will be sponsoring the Letter Jj for Joke Day at Genet! Please find a funny joke to send your child(ren) to school with on Wednesday to share. Again I want to thank our Character Education Team for creating this fun event for our school. Here is a copy of the flyer for your you so you can follow along with us: Genet’s ABC Countdown to Summer!
Spring/Summer Sports Opportunity:
Last week we sent home a Blue Devils Soccer Camp flyer with students. Here is a copy of that flyer in .pdf format for you to download: Blue Devils Soccer Campy 2021.
Summer Reading Skills Programs by Fordham
Last week students were sent home with a flyer regarding Summer Reading Skills programs sponsored by Fordham. I have attached the flyer for everyone’s review: Summer Reading Skills Program Flyer.
Summer Reading Program sponsored by Senator Jordan and the NYS Senate:
As we know, reading unlocks so many doors and opportunities for students to use their imagination and become part of a book or novel they are reading. To encourage students to read over the summer, and lessen the potential of summer regression, the NYS Senate has sponsored a summer reading program for students. Please click here to download the flyer for your review: Summer Reading Program 2021.
Thank you for your continued support of Genet, the Genet Team and myself. I wish you all the best this long holiday weekend and look forward to seeing all of our students back at Genet on Wednesday, June 2!
Sincerely,
Wayne Grignon
Principal
