All East Greenbush CSD schools will have a half day on Friday, April 26 due to professional development. Dismissal Times: Columbia (10:03 a.m.), Goff (10:40 a.m.), Pre-K at DPS/Genet/Green Meadow/Red Mill (10:45 a.m.), Genet (11:15 a.m.), Bell Top (11:30 a.m.), DPS (11:30 a.m.), Green Meadow (11:30 a.m.), Red Mill (11:30 a.m.).

Happy Friday to you all!  I hope you all had enjoyable weeks and will be able to enjoy the Fall weather this weekend.  Here are a few updates and other information for you:

No School Monday, October 11th!

East Greenbush schools are closed on Monday, October 11.

Genet School Photos Flyer:

Winter Coat Drive:

CoNSERNS-U is looking to provide winter coats to families in need.  If interested, please see the flyer attached:   Winter Coats for Kids

Scholastic Book Fair:

As a reminder, Genet will be holding our Scholastic Fall Book Fair starting October 18th through 22nd.  Classes will go to the book fair during their library time and there will be additional time for students to visit if they are absent or forgot money.  Here is a schedule for your reference: Genet Book Fair Schedule October 18th – 22nd.  Like last year, there is an option for families to put monies into a digital e-wallet for students to shop.  Here is a link for you to a video that explains the process and how it works: Scholastic E-Wallet.

Reminder: Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts

As mentioned previously, there is an opportunity for children to participate in some great community based groups.  I tend to post these events in e-mails and re-share them as needed.  I am re-sharing the following two for your reference:

Emergency Dismissal Day – November 10th 

This week your child(ren) should have come home with a letter from our Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction regarding our Emergency Preparedness Drill coming in November.  If you have missed it, I have attached it here for you: Emergency Preparedness Drill Letter.  Please take a moment and review the letter.  If you have any questions, please contact the main office at 518-207-2681.
