Goff Middle School’s Garden Club and DOME (Defenders of Mother Earth) joined forces recently in celebration of “Goff Goes Green Week” to clean up the school property and the garden. Members from the two clubs spent a beautiful, warm afternoon picking up litter, bagging up debris and weeding and raking out the raised beds.
Goff had spent the three days before Spring Recess bringing attention to the small things every person can do to help protect the environment – reusable water bottle use, recycling, cleaning up litter and growing organic, fresh fruit and vegetables in your own garden.
