Second grade students from Bell Top Elementary School recently completed Animal Research Projects, in which they studied various species from the animal kingdom. Research subjects included common animals such as the cow and squirrel, more exotic animals such as the Bengal Tiger and Blue Whale and even extinct species in the Woolly Mammoth.

The students presented their findings on posters which include an animal’s habitat, life cycle and other interesting facts. The impressive projects are on display outside the classrooms of teachers Jill Ann Wilkes and Kelly Panasci.
