The following letter was sent to parents of Goff Middle School students on Monday, September 26.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Howard L. Goff Middle School is offering an After School Homework Program for the 2022-2023 school year. It will be offered on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:50 – 3:50 p.m. The first day of the program will be held on Wednesday, October 12th. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child(ren) to get extra help in a small setting from our dedicated faculty. Below are the program details and guidelines:

• Students will be responsible to bring the work they would like to get assistance with. The teacher will not provide work.
• Each day, 4 teachers or teaching assistants will be available to help your students with their work.
• Students will sign up in the Guidance Office.

They will sign up in the guidance office each time they would like to attend the program. They will identify the subject they would like help in. Participation in the after school program is voluntary and not punitive. Teachers may recommend and encourage students to attend the program.

After school busing will be available. Buses leave Goff at 4:00 p.m. or you may pick up your child by 4:00 p.m. at the latest. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s School Counselor or Assistant Principal.
